SEEDS loves to “get things done” and implements local solutions to global issues at the intersection of ecology, education, and design. The nonprofit can be found getting its hands dirty in a vast array of on-the-ground projects, such as removing invasive species, facilitating the City of Traverse City Green Team, installing solar panels, managing the Sara Hardy Farmers Market, and teaching students about nature and stewardship. SEEDS offers enrichment and classes through the Youth Conservation Corps, and Teaching and Learning Programs.
